Cholesterol is the most abundant sterol compound found in most part of the body. It is a waxy fatty substance present in eggs, cheese and some meat products.

Documented research shows that high  cholesterol levels can lead to heart disease and stroke. Wheareas, increased cholesterol levels is caused by overweight, inefficient exercise, smoking and alcohol consumption.

Cholesterol builds up in the walls of the arteries, causing Artheroscelerosis, a form of heart disease . The arteries then become narrowed and occluded.Thus imparing or hindering the flow of blood to the myocardium , as a result, leading to chest pain and Heart attack.
