South African DJ Black Coffee Wins at the 64th Grammys.

At the 2022 Grammy Awards, Black Coffee from South Africa became the first African DJ to win a Grammy Award at the 64th Grammys, in the best dance/electronic album category, with his 2021 LP titled ‘Subconsciously.’

Aside from the win Black Coffee also became the first South African producer and DJ to be nominated in that important category.

Black Coffee wins his first Grammy Awards on Sunday, 3rd of April, 2022. He won the Best Dance/Electronic Album award for Subconsciously. He beat out Illenium (Fallen Embers), Major Lazer (Music Is the Weapon (Reloaded)), Marshmello (Shockwave), Sylvan Esso (Free Love), and Ten City (Judgement) who were in the same category with him.
